Animals don't judge you
Animals don't judge you, as long as they're fed and warm
they really don't care if you walk in a funny way or stop
or whether you shake, though it might be alarming if you
were too frenetic or if there were crashes and falls. They
might run and hide but they still wouldn't laugh or point
or stare. They'd come back. Animals, especially pets are
not too bothered, if you're very tired, they'll still come to
you and you can stroke their fur or feathers (therapeutic).
Even fish in a tank are soothing and calming, that's why
they have a tank in doctor's and dentists waiting rooms.
and dogs are used in hospitals to make patients feel better.
Animals don't care if you're sick or if you were oblong
shaped, coloured pink with two heads as long as you looked
after them. Animals are healing, when people let you down.
I have an RSPCA rescue cat who is very nervous with lots of social problems so I feel a special bond with her because she behaves a little differently. She looks to me for companionship and security so we support each other I guess. Do others find the relationship with pets important eg stroking and caring for in this strange, often frightening new world we inhabit? I just felt I wanted to write about this for all animal lovers.
