Atypical Parkinsonism?

My father is 80 years old and is currently taking Syndopa CR. His doctor recently added Pramipexole. He is experiencing physical weakness, slow walking, difficulty getting up from a chair, and moderate memory issues. His face also looks a little dull. His doctor mentioned that it might be Atypical Parkinsonism and that further evaluation is needed. If it is Atypical Parkinsonism, will it become more complicated in the coming days?Thank you!
