Hi,
My mum has exactly the same problem. I don’t know how to help. She caughes so strongly that I sometimes think she will not be able to breath. One doctor says she has a PD other two think she has a parkinsonism(PSP and or MA). I would be thankful if you could give me some advice.

My mum suffers from the same thing… loads of coughing, saliva stuck in throat, dry cough, we have an endoscopy scheduled although I doubt this will show anything. My mum says strepsils help a lot! I get really worried she might suffer from inhalation issues and stop breathing… I cried for the first time in my adult life yesterday (I’m 26yo male) and realised how much my mum has been suffering and how well my dad has looked after her while I’ve been working and studying abroad. I hate this disease
