DaTSCAN results are in. Anyone had similar looking results? what can I expect to be told if anyone has any idea haha. Got appointment at end of May with MDS
massive part of me thinks normal however the picture with orange lines look different if that’s what they going off! I see no comma shapes there!
I am young onset ie in thirties so obviously hope not Parkinson’s (have been told I have Parkinson’s even recieves the lovely blue folder saying newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s lucky me) all ready on meds and seem to work.
I have only a action/postutal tremor/ possibly functional tremor, was told resting but MDS seems to think not fully may be anxiety or whatever.
But images 55-56 look ok other two not so much but if the purple the dat stuff itself am guessing it’s a good thing that there’s plenty dotted round the green haha
Are your symptoms mainly on the left side of your body as there anppears to be a deficit on the right hand side on the scans - but I am not a neuropathologist!!
Yep need to point out left side of the pictures is right side of brain type thing just incase.
letter said significant bradykinesia left side and cogwheeling reduced left arm swing this all the pictures joined together told I had robust dopamine levels.
I read should be symmetrical in shape and activity on both sides and I do not see that but as said not a radiologist or whatever reads it.
I feel if I was to be scanned again in future it will show even less may been cancelled get reviewed again in November after being off meds mental if u ask me booking a private now to talk me through these
