Donepizil

Has anyone been prescribed Donepezil hydrochloride?
the following is my amateur understanding and should be verified with your doctor.

donepizil increases the amount of Acetylcholine available in the brain.
parinsons's is caused by there being to little dopamine compared to Acetylcholine so is treated by increasing dopamine or reducing Acetylcholine. So donepizil does not treat parkinson's. It does however treat alzheimers and can be used for lewy body dementia. I presume in the latter case there is a reduction of both dopamine and Acetylcholine so both would need to be increased, one by levadopa the other by donepizil.

please can anyone correct the above if it contains any errors.
Possibly to help gait too?
