Duodopa question: Can you swim in a public swimming pool?

I enjoy swimming at my local pool. Does anyone who is fitted with Duodopa go swimming? Or is there an unacceptable infection risk? I expect it is a pain to remove and set up the kit, but I can cope with that. It’s the infection risk I am worried about.
