Exhausted carer

There is a section of this forum called “Carers, Friends and Family” - Latest Living with Parkinson’s/Carers, friends and family topics - Parkinson’s UK Forum (parkinsons.org.uk)

I think it would better to suggest that Carers, Friends and Family to post there to vent their frustrations, and give the rest of the forum a miss.

Yes sorry lemon you are right I am just replying to the thread. Please all carers vent your frustrations on the carers section, but I don’t see any need to give the rest of the forum a miss is there?

Whew! Such a lot to take in…Am I too late? Has the discussion moved? Or is my rhyme in time?
……
Every single one has a valid point to make
With hearts so full of feeling, bodies full of shake.
Love is overflowing, we care one for the other
We all love our families, siblings, partners, mother.
Those who suffer Parky’s, with too much must contend
While friends, family, carers , need help too at their end.
As a Parky sufferer, to me it makes most sense,
Ways are found for all of us, to retain independence.
We all must try to understand the problems we must brave,
And work together finding ways, our sanity to save.

Now I have no carer, but a husband I adore -
I’m not sure which of us needs the other more!

Thank you for writing this .As a carer it has made me stop and think and understand what my husband is going through .

Thank you, your words made me cry.I have just become a member and am reading of carers like me who have no contact with others .It helps to think my husband would say the same words to me .
