Happy Easter, Passover, Hola Mohalla or non-religious four-day break.
Whatever you’re celebrating, we hope you have a lovely long weekend.
Hi thnx 4 the happy wishes. I have been sufferng toothache since Good Friday. Upper left 3 filling fell out and lower right (stumpy, he's a tooth not a number) disintegrated.
However in true PWP spirit and resolve, some alcohol, co-codomol, support from this site and an abundance of chocolate, ice cream and bounty bars coated in bonjella, I had the longest weekend in my life..
FYI effing and jeffing like a scotsman (or scotchman) does increase your pain threshold.
happy easter to all the staff at puk
hope your weekend was a lovley relaxing one
Yikes, what a time for that to happen, just the four days when it's impossible to find a dentist. Really sorry to hear that. I hope it gets sorted soon.
Thank you both. The four day break was quiet and relaxing. If you stayed inside, turned up the heat and squinted, it almost seemed like spring...
It does indeed. Squinting, or blinded through tears give much the same effect.
I thought we were getting a heat wave at the end of spring. Apparently this is summer!?!? What? It better not be.
Oh I've a solution to my potty mouthing. After watching some cartoon characters, I've decided that Muttley (of dastardly & Muttley fame) mutterings are the way to go.
Ez, is the term "rassin' frassin'" acceptable with the mods.
love spring,we got all the crocisis and daffs coming up,and cus the weather has been dry with some sun,it makes you seem to feel a bit beter.goodness nows why,i think warmth ,summer warmth makes me feel bit beter in me self to,i dont no if its in me mind or if others seem to feel this way to?
Summer warmth certainly makes me feel better. But there are snow flurries here in the south and they look set to continue through today.
The world has gone topsy turvy...
Until further notice, the use of 'rassin frassin' is okay in the community. Unless directed at another member. As in, 'rassin frassin Eck'
snow flurries?weve got snow drifts 5ft deep went up into the mountains yesterday evening and everyone sliding down hills on black plastic bags using everything but sleighs pity the poor farmers and the spring lambs they have had to dig out but today is sunny more like spring warmer and yep the crocus and daffs are out in all their splendour showing off in their purple yellow and white cloaks and as i face the warm sun i feel like shouting hello spring as its warmth thaws my bones yes i move better too in the heat
I know, snow flurries are not much in comparison but for the south in April, it's a lot.
I do feel really terrible for the farmers. News images of them digging out the little lambs were awful. They're saying the weather is going to have a massive impact on arable farmers as well. Hard year.
I'll be away tomorrow and my colleague Jennie will be looking after the forum. So, I'll be back on Monday.
I hope your weekend holds more crocus.
