Sorry your in such pain and feeling angry BB. It's the same old story folks don't know enough about parkinsons to understand how it effects most of us how and how it makes us look at times because of the pain we bear.
You can't help blaming them but it's the media for not administrating enough or showing enough literature and programmes about out plight

They are ignorant and not worth it. If youdid lose it with them they still wouldnt learn. You are the opposite. You have helped a lot of us on this forum . you have represented us all the way to the top, to try to help those in power understand what we go through and need. I wish there was some magic wand that could take away all the pain and suffering and make people kinder and more understanding. I wish I could find the right words to make you feel better. Thinking of you and hoping the best when you get to London for better treatment to help manage the awful dystonia

I do sympathise with your reaction to such rude treatment from the morons in the street. But just remember when you are angry -- at least you don't live in a country so full of morons that they may nominate one of their kind for President! Such is the fate of Americans. (I thought Bush was an idiot until I compared him to Trump and discovered how many fine qualities he had!)
Really, I'm just hoping to make you smile. I understand the embarrassing and sometimes frightening need for help in public. People can be ignorant or insensitive or both! I'm sorry such a sensitive and thoughtful individual as you should ever suffer their insults.

Last time we were there we shipped our motorbike across and rode Route 66 the whole lenght the best holiday ever.

BB, if you come to the U.S., I will be seriously hurt if you don't contact me! I'm way over here on the West Coast, but I'd love to meet you. The 4th World Parkinson Congress happens to be in Portland, Oregon, this year from September 20 to 23. (Or maybe that would be undesirable, mixing business with pleasure.) The only problem there is that I'll be here just through September 21 before I have a commitment elsewhere.
Just let me know if you're coming this way. Of course, if my fellow countrymen really do something as stupid as electing Trump, it's all off --- because I'll be moving to the UK! Rumour has it that Canada is already building a wall.

But i have some relatives in the USA .. New jersey, florida keys, indiana and san francisco my nans sister married a flyer 44th bomb group and emigrated to the USA via the ship queen mary.
a Road trip seems a good way to take in the World hope trump doesn't spoil it by being elected president.

It sounds as if you have quite a few relatives here! I lived for 52 years just south of San Francisco, a great part of the country. Housing there is unbelievably expensive now, though. A three-bedroom, two-bath house of 1200 square feet can cost over a million dollars -- no exaggeration! And then in summer you're living with water rationing because California is so dry. But it's a beautiful state nevertheless.

We have branches all over the World J Canada and Australia too lol Perhaps i'll do a world tour for my 50th if im ever brave enough , those in san franscico won the california state lotto back in the 70's or early 80's 2.25 million dollars bet it wouldn't go far now!!, you can locally get equally expensive propertys here, a 8x6ft beach hut often goes for £140 thousand +
