Connor went home yesterday morning but was knocking on our door at 4am
hes going to stay here for a few days
but he is going to decide if she stays at the flat , she can either buy him out or the flat will go up on the market and cut his loses , he earns alot more than her
cant believe how she can change in a short period of time
he does all the cooking and washing and wiping up and the cleaning
she just sits around , no longer wants to go out with friends but gets the hump when connor goes out with work colleagues
im just going to make sure i am here for him
bp is on the increase but he doesnt need to know that
Hi Keith just keep an eye on your BP I know its hard you have to be there for conner but you wonāt be any help if you not well as always I, m here if you need to talk

I wasnāt being sexist when I said she sits on her arse watching TV. But neither me or Kay saw this coming so soon
Iām coping better than I thought even though BP has increased . And as most of you know already Iām not always very tactful in what I say.
Least to say it isnāt easy .
I know have to engage my brain before opening my mouth lol

I have my Neuroglial appointment tomorrow at 11am
So then I will get my idiot pills too then maybe my BP will be easier to manage
Does anyone know if I get diagnosed that day or is it another waiting period

Hi Keith before I saw. My neurologist I had been for an MRI scan and also a dat scan. So when I saw him he told me that it was confirmed that I had PD. He then sent a letter to my Dr to advise what to prescribe. I got my tabs later on that week and an app for 3 months time.
Hoping you get on okay. Please let me know?
Every area does it differently and as I live in Scotland itās prob different again.

My neurologist told me on the day I finally got to see him that I had PD after carrying out some tests on my reflexes & writing skills, Iāve never had any scans. I was considering getting a second opinion, probably because I was finding it difficult to accept the diagnosis but when I saw my PD nurse she examined me & did some further tests & confirmed I had it. Think they also āsuck it & seeā a bit with the drugs they prescribe ie if they help you then you have PD.
Hi Keith I saw neurologist he sent me for the data scan and when he had the results he sent me an appointment can, to remember how long from the scan to appointment but know it wasnāt long good luck will check on you tomorrow

I think most neurologists give their diagnosis on the day if they believe you are in that category after their test and write to your GP to start you on the meds.
Roy is right they try them and if they work it confirms their diagnosis also they will probably arrange a datscan

Yeah Iām fine , had to give up yesterday due to the shakes but managed to finish it today

When I read this thread I am conscious of how much we all achieve. It is nothing short of a miracle that the humour and support is constant and enveloping.
As we all lurch from one crisis to another all of you find the time to be kind.
