I’m sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience with your neurologist.
This does not sound very professional on the Consultant’s behalf. I’ve spoken to our Nurse Advisor and she advises that you get a second opinion from a Consultant Neurologist who is known to specialise in Parkinson’s.
As I’m sure you’re aware, you can also ask your consultant for a DAT scan if they are still unsure about a Parkinson’s diagnosed.

but if it wasnt for the friends i have made here i wouldnt like to think where i would be now its not a thought i think about ( TOO SCARY) i owe my FRIENDS here more than they know
I admit im having a bit of a rough ride at the moment , the not knowing and being told its all self induced is a bitter pill to swallow or even understand but how she come to that conclusion is mind boggling and insulting
she didnt want to look into anything else it might be , not even say or refer me for a dat scan
but instead saying i need to see a psychiatrist ,( like i need to see another doctor )
all in all she has labeled me as NUTS and losing my marbles
she says i have Anger issues , she would have anger issues too if she wasnt firing on all cylinders
all this isnt doing my blood pressure any good either just had blood pressure test today and its still high 141/97
already had 1 cardiac event and a mini stroke , and if i dont get my blood pressure sorted things will only get worse
i’ve been told im already well on the way for either if not both
My Doctor who i trust is going to wait to see what the neurologist says then speak to me
but i will contact the helpline and talk to someone when i’m a bit calmer
I WILL get a second opinon
Again thank you and i will let you know what happens when it happens
if a stroke or heart attack dont get me first ( sorry just my humour, its all i got left just now )

bit rough at dentist, 40 min hygienist from hell………could hardly walk…
followed by dentist who took one look at me and sent me home. Just made it to couch, 4 hours later went to bed.
Proper wipe out, hate those days.
We all seem to be medically busy, thank you for kind thoughts, much appreciated.
