Cowardly, deceiving, conniving,
Politicians, you see, as a bunch;
More and more on the threshold arriving,
With their pasts not so white, I've a hunch.
Individuals, both Labour and Tory,
Emerging from where, don't ask me;
Their posture on stage a news story,
The ending , good or bad, wait and see.
Each word that they utter, scrutinise,
For a different agenda, unsaid
Nothing can be simple in their eyes.
Much rather confuse, do in your head.
The mastery of words brings success,
Ability to confuse, not explain.
So jeremy no chance, I confess,
With theresa, who knows, may abstain.
