Madopar for someone else abroad

Hi everyone,
My uncle is affected by Parkinson . He is currently in Italy and asked me to bring him madopar because I go there for bank holidays. I bought it here in the uk with his prescription but now I have concerns if it is legal for me to carry it for him on a plane? Do I need to carry it on had luggage or suitcase? I have his prescription so I can show it on a broader but we have different family names… I do not know whom to ask. I want to help but do not want to get into trouble.

Many thanks in advance.

Best,
Maria

I think you need professional advice from somewhere like the Foreign Office, who advise travellers, rather than asking on here. Unless of course someone here can answer with absolute authority. No longer being in the EU may come into play as well
And of course Welcome to the Group :slightly_smiling_face:
