Twinks, Hi. REF: Madopar Dispersible. My wife works in a care home and part of the training is reading the information leaflet that comes with the medication. My consultant also told me that I could use Madopar as a stepping stone between my other medications, mainly Stalevo.. Unfortunately she was looking forward to benefiting from some of the side eff. ects. But the only one she's noticed is me "eating like a crocodile!" So how come I still look like "Gollum". Have to go now, in case I lose this postal. Hope that clarifies what I was trying to say?
Thanks Starfish.........I did wonder if you were talking about the dispersible type, not the capsules. So that's clarified it nicely. I only take the Madopar capsules (125mg.) 3 or 4 times a day depending on what I'm doing. I find they take half an hour or so to kick in and last me anything between 3 and 5 hours, again depending on what I'm doing. Sorry to hear that you're not getting the side effects your wife was hoping for!!!
