ARE THERE ANY ALTERNATIVES TO SINEMET, MADOPAR AND MIRAPEXIN ?

I was diagnosed with PD approx 3 years ago and have been taking Mirapexin 260mcg/daily along with Rasagaline 1mg.

In the past I was prescribed Madopar by my PD Consultant starting with one 50mg/12,5mg at breakfast( eventually to go upto 3/day)

After taking the 1/day I experienced difficulty with sleeping along with a rash and incessant itching on hands and feet.A similar experience was encountered when switched onto Sinemet.

The PD Consulant has mentioned as an alternative to increase the dosage of Mirapexin,

My concern is that since being on the original Mirapexin dose I am aware that my spending frequency on the Internet has increased ( becoming a daily habit, although managable) as a result I am apprehensive about increasing the dosage.

Maybe I am worrying over nothing, but I would still like to ask the question is there any drugs that anyone can recommend in place off Sinemet, Madopar and Mirapexin.

Many thanks ARREN1
I think that basically the medical treatments are levadopa or DAs.
You are wise to resist more DAs if you are having dodgy side effects.
Perhaps the levadopa side effects can be countered with other drugs?
Sorry can't be of more help.
