His walking is poor and veryslow. He sees Parkinsons nurse every three months ,he takes Carcaladopa , our GP doesn’t offer any ongoing support he hassn’t seen GP. Yes he would benefit from both speech therapy and physio. He wouldn’t agree to any kind of counselling. We live in Scotland. We had a great life that overnight changed.Perhaps being diagnosed out of the blue at his age 77 he just seems to have given up. Having no family support doesn’t help. I am at a loss as to what else I can do. I can’t make him do things he doesn’t want to do.He gets tired very easily, spend most days watching TV which he never did.
