I am wondering if anybody out there has the same problem as my husband.
He was diagnosed nearly 5 years ago with Cirrhosis of the liver. He was not a drinker and after further investiagtions he was found to have a rare disease, namely. Alpha 1 Antitrypsin deficiency.
Over the years the liver disease has led to many other problems and he is now going to be assessed for a liver transplant.
We knew he had something called "Hepatic Encephalopathy" which affects cognition and loss of speed within your body.
The other day we were told that he symptoms are actually "parkinsonsism" .
He has now to have an MR1, EEG and see a neurologist. I was just wondering if anybody else out there has developed PS due to a liver disease.
