As I was going for a "hike"
Along the country roads,
I suddenly just thought of Mike,
And the jokes he can tell loads.
They are a bit of light relief,
And make us laugh and smile.
Now why did I just think of beef,
When I've walked well nigh a mile?
Ah! There's a cow behind the fence,
Its eyes not leaving me,
And another with no sense,
Running from a buzzing bee.
As I think of cows and jokes,
My memory comes back
To a birthday card, good folks,
In a card shop's display rack.
There were two cows together,
In a nice green field, at ease,
When one then asked the other,
"Do you fear Mad Cow Disease?"
The other with no cares replied,
"At me,friend, take a look.
Do you need new specs?" he sighed.
"Can't you see I am a Duck?!"
