You ladies three
From the speech therapy
Are trying to make my voice stronger
Making my ‘Aahs’ longer and longer
My other half when asked to help with my sound level meter
Said, “You are wasting your time, this won’t make your voice any better”
Full of encouragement and words of praise
“You will have to do more than that before I can hear you,” he says
Perhaps one should bear in mind as we get older hearing begins to fade
And a hearing aid might make a suitable upgrade
So I’ll just keep plodding on
And might even occasionally break into song
Although ‘song’ isn’t perhaps quite the right word
Oh but I dream of singing like a bird.
From Ferguson Hi there>
I once new a singing teacher
Who spoke like a preacher
floating like a butterfly
because he had just stung like a bee.
hit the pitch of top F sharp perfectly.
while the first speech therapist mouthed noisily
by sitting on the knee
of the second speech therapist with a harpsichord
who plucked the strings without singing a word
while the third speech therapist sang like a bird.
Get the drift
dont feel mift
Singing like a bird
releases endorphines thats the chord!
Have a nice one
