Hello Rose - although employed by the NHS out in the community, a number have been funded/posts pump-primed by Parkinson’s UK. Where that’s the case, Parkinson’s UK ought to be allowed oversight of how the service is working from the viewpoint of PWP imo though I have no idea if they do. The difference in care - or lack of - throughout the NHS is inequitable when it is supposed to be a national service we have all contributed to.
