Something else to cope with

It does not have the discuss with your doctor first warning usually found on this high st brand of supplement . 5htp worth checking with pd dr or nurse ideally though.  Have you had chance to look at john gray diet for pd , it is interesting to research the possible benefits of some of the supplements.  I have picked out two more to try but these do carry a warning to consult your doctor and in any case cannot be taken with levopoda .  Its worth trying as the worst scenario is it makes no difference but at least I feel I am doing my best to cope with the symptons.  lets not make it too easy for our PArky pal at best I am going to confuse the little blighter. xx

I havn`t posted for a while, and the forum has changed. I had to reset my password, as I was not recognized, but here I am at last.

Nothing has changed very much, but I do have to take care walking on uneven ground. The numb feet dont help, but I still do a fair bit of walking. Another annoying thing has developed, and that is a painful arm from the shoulder to the wrist. Its worse at night, and pain killers do nothing for it. I have been rubbing the arm with both Tiger Balm and ibuprofen, but neither is really successful.

Im not sure if its arthritis, which I do have a touch of in my thumbs, but otherwise had no problem in all my 77 years. I should feel lucky, as I know people much younger have suffered for years…
