Why is it important to raise awareness of Parkinson's?
Answer: So that pwp dont become invisible (like me and Benji on this thread)
I have put the card I have Parkinson's in my purse where most folk put a photo, if customers behind me at supermarket check outs start tutting because I am slow, I open my purse so the card can be seen. Then attitudes change pity I have to do this, but thankfully it rarely happens.
