Madopar does not work at night!
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease four years ago. At present I take 4 standard doses of Madopar/Entacapone each containing (2x [100mg/25mg] plus Entacapone 200mg) four times a day, At 7am, 11am, 3pm and 7pm. The night dose taken around 7pm contains one capsule of Madopar 100mg/25mg (CR), 200mg Entacapone and Ropinirole 6mg.
This regiment is highly effective during the day however nothing works from 7:00 am to 7am, including madopar standard dose as above, madopare dispersible (50mg/12.5mg) ,madopar long relese (CR) or ropinirole.
