Advice needed please

Hi there, advice needed please,

I think I have recently been diagnosed but to be honest im a little confused because my consultant is saying 'The working diagnosis is Parkinsonism and the differential diagnosis includes Idiopathic Parkinsons Disease' can someone tell me exactly what this means? is this PD? I have been told to notify the DVLA and my response to Sinemet has been brilliant so am i correct in saying i have now been diagnosed??

Thanks for any advice

Best regards

Idiopathic Parkinson is the most common type of parkinsons if your sinemet does not ease your symptoms then you could have Parkinsonism. Google it and you will get some information. or type it in the search above. search the site about your driving licence issues, but you do after get in touch with DVLA. My wife got her licence for 3 years then she  has to re-apply unfortunately she only drove for 6 months then lost all confidence.   Glad to hear that the sinemet is working .

                        all the best......Billy
