My partner had gone to sleep quite quickly, I was reading, when I noticed his fingers were doing a pill rolling action. I had huge anxiety and was very upset.
Up to now he has only had quite severe essential tremors, spilling drinks etc.
I videoed it, so I could show him the next day and to show the consultant at
his next appt. We are both quite shocked as he doesn’t have a definitive diagnosis of “P” yet.
Has anyone come across this, does or can a pill rolling action happen in sleep in “P” thank you for any advice.
Yes, pill-rolling tremors can occur in Parkinson’s (P), and for some people, they might even happen during sleep or in that in-between state of drifting off. It’s less common to see clear tremor activity during deep sleep, but in lighter stages or moments of movement, it can happen. That said, tremors can also appear in other neurological conditions, so it’s not a guarantee that it’s Parkinson’s just based on that
