I’m new here and wanted to reach out to see if anyone has tips or advice on staying active while managing stiffness and muscle tension? I’ve been trying to keep up with my usual exercises but lately, it’s been tougher than usual. I am using Cognos platform to monitor activities. When I was Googling for the same I came across these resources/articles Staying active at home when you have Parkinson’s | Parkinson's UKCognos Tutorial however they are good but I want to learn more from community members.
Does anyone have a routine or any specific stretches that have worked for them? I’m open to any suggestions or even small things you’ve found helpful in your day-to-day.

Do reach out them for localized suggestions.
Hi Calebrobinson,
I do PDWarrior exercises. This is an Australian based exercise programme and philosophy which works on the idea of neuroplasticity which, as I understand it, means you can train you brain to find new pathways for messages to the muscles . You can Google and find some examples but I have joined PDWarrior plus for roughly £100 per annum which gives me access to a variety of exercise classes from 2minute hints and tips through 20 minute focussed programmes to 60mins classes. You can communicate with other people with Parkinson’s and with Melissa Mc Conachy who "invented " this programme and who’s worked for years with PWP. I find this good value for money and I really ‘Get’ the exercises which are exaggerated versions of real life situations and activities. Having done these exercises for many months and completed the ten week challenge I find it easier to get out of the car, the bath, get up from kneeling to hug my grand-daughter, reach up to a high shelf, stretch up and down emptying the dishwasher and washing machine, walki smartly and with good posture, climb stairs etc etc . You have to do them regularly and even if you don’t feel like it, you do feel better afterwards.
I hope you’ll check them out and let me know what you think.
