I recently had my medication changed from - MADOPAR 50/12.5mg - 1 X 3 daily to MADOPAR 100/25mg 2 x daily + MADOPAR CR 100/25mg 1 x last thing at night. Does anyone else take this night time slow release tablet and can anyone explain what the benefit is? I can't see any benefit personally as I have no sleep problems and am considering stopping the CR tablet.
You will eventually get problems with medication running out overnight. You might not notice this yet but it will happen. The slow release are meant to cover the night period by slowly releasing the medication.
When you are at the stage of taking a tablet every 3 hours the benefits will be more obvious.
your physician is being a little bit ahead of your needs perhaps.
