Hi , l hate to sound like the voice of doom but l had dbs 12 months ago and now l have problems with my balance more than l did before !
I have read so many positive things about this but l would like to talk to other people that have had DBS ,
I had DBS surgery 10 months ago. I would like to share my experience with others who have been on this journey.
I had DBS 18 months ago (March 22). My experience has been positive over all.
I was told that DBS did not affect balance, but in fact there was a marked improvement in mine. The nurse put it down to the reduction in dyskinesia, but I’m not so sure.
Yes. I’m experiencing speech and balance issues myself. Not what I was expecting!
