Hi . I find that whenI use the Passport Facial recognition it fails every time for me. When everyone else sails through. Does anyone else have this issue?

My husband does every single time. Do you think it’s lack of expression? I think he gets stressed about it now and his tremors kick in and he doesn’t hold the passport down firm enough.

I’ve had mixed luck with airport gates too, and what helped me was figuring out how much my facial expression changes when my meds are wearing off. I once used face2social.com to preview how different photos of me were being matched, and it made me realise tiny changes can confuse automated systems. Timing the scan for when I’m steadier or asking staff for manual checks has made trips a bit smoother.
