Has anyone had any experience of using an Electric Lifting Chair. (e.g: Vocic) to help lift someone off the floor please?

Hopefully some of our members who have experience of chairs or other lifting aids will be able to share what has worked well for them.
It would also be worth speaking to an occupational therapist or physiotherapist before buying any equipment like this. They can look at a person’s individual mobility and needs and advise on equipment.

My husband is prone to falls, his legs are so weak, especially after his second hip operation 4 years ago. Our NHS physiotherapy team brought me a RAIZER machine. The machine has to be assembled under the patient and then battery operated power lift . What they didn’t factor in was that I a m in my late 70s and the equipment is too heavy for me to move from room to room and upstairs. Some places are very difficult to use the machine so they then produced a slider sheet to move the patient to a suitable position. Not good. I strained the muscles in my lower back. Paramedics have no problem using such machines. Hope this helps.
