Just wondering if anybody has had DBS done at Bristol Southmead.
Apparently they have a MRI scan well before the operation and you’re not even awake you get a general anaesthetic for the scan possibly
Cos at over an hour it’s a long time to be in there.
My question is given that you’re out for the count do they still use a stereotactic head frame to keep your head steady or is that no longer necessary?
If anyone has any knowledge of this plse enlighten me ?
