Went to GP this week about sore back, was given Pregabalin. I am getting worse with back pain and had DBS so not able to have a MRI. Am at wits end as heard bad reviews for Pregabalin. GP not referred me to hospital, doing physio but not helping. What can I do? The pain is stopping me do things.

How awful! So sorry to hear that you’re in pain. I think you need to go back to your GP if you’re still not seeing any improvements with the help of physio and you have concerns about Pregabalin. I contacted my PD Nurse (angel) who has referred me to Neurophysio.
Is this the same physio referral that you made reference to in your comment? If so, I’d still recommend you give NHS 111 a call or speak to a Parkinson’s nurse via our helpline.
