No need to shout, just another gem of info dropped through the letter box, I am having the plumbing of Ddopa changed on the eighth of Dec, so if you hear loud agonising screams from a NE direction its just me, lying on my back is very painful and I have to do it for the sirjin SERGUN sergeon to access the area concerned. No date for my back yet, happy days

I know this is probably a silly question , but have you had your ears sandblasted ,, only joking, I must go every 3months or I go deaf and the machine is very good ,it cant stop the tinnitus of course but I can hear much better after the mildly pleasant treatment.
Yep, ears were blasted yesterday, so all's well.....hear, hear! And you're right it is a rather pleasant sensation having the irrigation process. I have it done yearly. Tinnitus still sending electrical vibes through my head, as usual though. Wonder why that happens, when you have Parkinson's?
I stopped breeding reindeers( flying ) in the late 70s ,they are very difficult to train and must achieve Mach 6 plus just to visit all the homes in the UK, but the main reason for shutting down FFR,, yes FEDS FLYING REINDEER ltd was the number lost to SAMS, terrible those AWACS showed no mercy and nor did the RAF ,so one night last October I opened their pens and away they went shame but I had no choice,at least the chimney climbing is over, bah humbug.
My wish for chrish,, mas yes yes I know,,,is a miracle, some dedicated boff sittting at his desk suddenly jumps up , no he has not sat on a hedge hog,, he has a cure for PD but by the time Rand D,packaging shipping etc are added up the cost to each victim of PD was £198 000 so not feasable then,, but wait all the billionairs heard about this miracle and announced its ok folks we will pay all costs so it wont cost a penny, ohh lookout a pig has just flown by , nearly took my edoff
I have been lulled, yes lulled into a sense of false security friends ,as you know the pain went then returned, then went yesterday morning, so as I did not want it back I was very very careful moving around plus I had to have a ultrasound scan at 14.10 hrs saturday, so I carefully sat in the car and away we went, now I think you will agree when you arrive at hosp and all the doors are locked its a bit disappointing , so we , my wife pushing me in my wheelchair trundled around to the MAIN ENTRANCE 2 which is of the revolving door type,, they never go wrong do they,, ehhh yes in fact they do, it was ok until we approached the it stopped,,so I gave it one of my blessings and as if by magic away it went, so we were in, and were in the ultrasound dept at 14.00hrs so we waited x ten, 20 x45, then a lady came and said are you waiting for a CT,,no a US oh,, well you are not on the list,, but I will try and fit you in, we showed the letter with the appointment time and quickly entered USdept,,, oh forgot to say I have 2 lumps one on my left shoulder and another under my right arm the latter deemed benign the former only appeared two weeks sin and this was the reason for the US, so I sat in the chair and the young USder scanned the area, and on the screen I could see a fairly hefty lump and asked her opinion, she replied I would have to contact my consultant or GP ?? so as I am been treated for prostate cancer obviously Iam worried and not a little frightened is the GR turning his gaze in my direction, well he will have a squabble on his hands if he tries anything I wont be a easy catch,, I have not gone through all this pain and suffering only to fall at the 6th so onward my buddies onward.
NICE word lulled I like nice words splosh soothe smile, nice ? FED
I dont know if the smileys I have chosen will stay with this post, I sincerely hope so as they convey in their expression my mood and they are fun, as are the avatars, nine being a photo taken by me at HAMSTERJAM AIRPORT on our way to the best holliday ever, at our friends villa near Vigo Espania the reason I say it was our best is I mentioned to Antonio, his wife is Marion that I WANTED VERY MUCH to see inland Spain the little villges and towns well I will deliver the story of our totally fantasmalogicalistically incredible tale of the four of us touring the heart of this beautiful land , far far away from the commercialised tower block hotels and crowded beaches, more later.

Have to agree with your sentiments about the North Yorks. Moors. My parents lived in Goathland for 35yrs., until my Dad passed away in April, so I know the area v. well. We often used to walk down to the station to watch the steam trains coming and going. There's nothing quite like the sight, sound, and smell of a steam train. And the heather is beautiful on the Moors, when in full bloom.
I don't know the farmhouse you mentioned.......whereabouts was it exactly? Anyway, I'm pleased we share the same views of the North......couldn't live darn sarth!! Enjoy your Spanish trip. There are some fantastic little villages inland. We drove from the top of Spain to the bottom, many years ago.......just watch out for the wild boar!
Its off the A171 about 3mll out of Whitby but is very secluded and peaceful and impossible to see from the road.
I could have done with a bit of peacefulness yesterday as I was in for my 66yr service at NTGA WHEN the plumbing for my Ddopa was changed, now I wont go into details dear Twinks perchance you may have been alarmed by the bloodcurdling hellziabub screams from the direction of Geordieland yes my friend it was me like I say no details, then upon returning home projectile vomiting easily demolishing the PVWC, record set by the world champion Alfie McMaddy after consuming 33 boiled eggs and 12 pints of Guiness, he achieved 5 1/2 mtrs whereas I reached a amazing 7 1/2 mtrs though it wont count as no one from PVWC was present pity eh.
I feel much brighter today though , raining hard here and the service seems to have worked
So that was you disturbing my peace yesterday. Your screams were heard all the way down the A19! I hope no-one was in the vicinity of your world record vomiting attempt and that your guts are intact today? I'm amazed at your ability to joke about all your problems, (of which there seem many). I feel slightly guilty about only having the Bradykinesia type of Parkinson's, when others like you, are suffering much worse symptoms. Most of the time, I'm relatively 'normal', whatever that's supposed to feel like!
My peace has been shattered today, by machines dredging the village pond in front of my house. Last time it was done 34yrs. ago, many WW11 artifacts were found buried in the mud. (My village was a Canadian aircraft base during the war). Don't suppose they'll find much this time......although I haven't seen my OH for a while come to think of it. Best wishes to you and yours.
Were the Canadians flying Halifaxes by any chance , have you been to Elvington nr you I believe the Canucks flew the big H out of Elvington, and there is the only complete Halifax hangered there, wouldnt you think the government would have kept a couple or more of all the aircraft that defeated the evil nazis there are 2 Lancasters soon to be 3 I believe it would be nice to have a few Halifax Stirlings and others in a fleet what a sight that would have been, too late now.
I am a lot better now , just my back to fix and I will be happy, we tend to value the wrong things dont we health good health is utterly priceless, im sure you will agree both of yoooose.
Bestive wishyness both FED im a bit of a scrooge, I like to give but cant understand why its peace and good will to all for 2days then back to murder war killing stealing for the rest of the year ???? humans eh you have to laugh dont you , my grandchildren will witness awful things.
Yes Fed, they were Halifaxes. We remember all the pilots and people killed, every Remembrance Sunday, on the village green. The old airfield still remains and the buildings are used for Industrial purposes. It is said they are haunted and you can hear strange noises at night! I walk the dog on the airfield and must admit when I pass the old empty mortuary building, it's a bit spooky even in broad daylight. We see one of the Lancasters and two Spitfires fly over occasionally, as they go to Linton-on-Ouse airfield.
Well, must go, as we have a man coming to fix our heating at 8am. It's on the blink.....
I delivered a load of timber to a firm who occupied three collosal xww2 hangers at Driffield they were so big he had a fleet of artics (22) and they all fitted easily, I forgot to ask if he knew what Aircraft were stationed there, I will find out now.
