Bathroom scales

Hi everyone.

I have to lose some weight in order to be able to have some surgery. My current bathroom scales just keep putting up an error message when I try to get weighed.

Having checked the battery and found this message doesn't appear when other family members use them I have come to the conclusion that it is my shaking that is affecting the scales.

Has anybody else had this problem or could you recommend some scales which aren't  so sensitive to the shakes.

I have some SALTER scales and they show the error message if I get on the scales too quickly after pressing them to switch them on, and haven't waited for the 00 to show.

The ERR message also comes on if the 00 has been displayed and I am too slow to get on the scales.
