Just watched a podcast about Beech Bands - and they sound amazing. Is there any info about when they will become available and how they can be bought? Is there a waiting list?
https://www.beechband.com/ this is the website think they are taking some pre orders soon.
Thanks for that. I’m onto it now. Looks really promising.
No probs they do look interesting.
It would be interesting to know what clinical research has been done on this.
Dont get too excited ive been trying all these overpriced gimm icks vibrating disc’s/gloves patches costing 100s
There is a lot of people trying to make a lot of money out of us the best treatment is exercise and its free George
From my observations this guy is not motivated by money. Does it matter whether they have a scientist’s approval, so long as they do no harm? Mine’s been a few weeks in the pipeline - I ordered it 29th December - but I’m looking forward to trying it. BTW it wasn’t expensive - £20, and I paid £300 for a similar gadget and it didn’t work for me.
I ordered one on 29th December, had acknowledgement but no delivery date. I won’t hold my breath…
I take my medication and that has worked well for me for over 15 years now. People are surprised when I tell them I have Parkinson’s!!

Hi , we ordered one beginning of December , we had ours delivered on Thursday one of the first 100 .
My wife has worn it today and so far she says she feels no different , as in . , switched it on when she couldn’t walk … Still couldn’t walk with it on .
We’re going to try the other arm different times of day different part of the body.
I’m not saying it not working .we just have to find the right place for it to have the right effect .
I put it on gave me quite a tingle in my hand .
We will persevere with it. And come back with any news.
i am interested in this band and see that it has been worn by some known people in the Parkinsons world and has made a difference to them . it is also supported by Parkinsons UK. Does anyone know if it makes a difference to dystonia - ie can free you from it? It also has worked for other neurological problems such as stroke and MS. I didnt find the Cube did anything for me, but this is far cheaper and appears to be more succesful.
Noticing a tingle in your hand is a good sign of some effect. I’d be curious to see if certain conditions or placements consistently bring about a change
My wife has tried it on left and right wrist, I’m not noticing difference on how she walks.
But she says it’s helping , obviously she’s the one who can tell the difference.
I may try to attach it to her legs ( one at a time !) and see if that’s any help . But it’s like all these gadgets. Some work for some .
Not to sure what other benefits it may have or to what extent it helps other conditions.
Until it’s full release and customers can fully explore it’s full potential who knows…
I just read that the release date is June , July and the cost will be around £80-99
It isn’t a cure in any way @forest though it may help. The only way to know is to try.
I’ve friends who bought it and I could see the difference for them. For one it was immediate. For the other it took a few weeks of wearing to get used to it before it helped.
That doesn’t mean it’ll help everyone.
Not sure if its of any use to anyone however it looks like if you have an certain type of android smartwatch/smartphone you can download an app from the google playstore for £5.99 to see if a beechband might be benefical to you.No idea if it works as my smartwatch is not suitable and I would be a bit wary of ruining a working smartwatch if it downloaded and ruined it!

Hello @birch the Beechband and is a vibrating watch , rechargeable.
Lasts about 2 hours, on sale at £75 plus pp. via there website from 1 July 25.
Got mine yesterday, took about two minutes to kick in, feeling like my old self again
Please be aware rhis is only my view of the Beech Band. It is very clear they don’t say it works for all but I have found a difference. I think it really comes down to whether you think it is worth ‘risking’ the cost to give it a go. I hope rhis may help some to decide.
Re the Beech Band
I have to conclude that it has made a difference to my sleep pattern. When I wear it I don’t go to sleep any earlier - usually after midnight or 1 o’clock and wake about 4 occasionally 5 - with it I’m waking at 5 or 6 occasionally nearly 7. I’m also finding that unlike the nights I don’t use it when I need to get up almost immediately as I feel uncomfortable, I can stay in bed for 30+ minutes quite comfortably. The Beech Band is the only difference. As long as it works I will go on using it.
It doesn’t come with any real advice for using it. However I found this video which is 11 months old but it helped me understand it a bit better, It seems it’s up to the individual to try it however they wish until they find out how it suits them best - if at all, So it can be used all the time or in those circumstances when it might help.
I personally think the battery needs a longer charge - currently it lasts about 3 hours - and I would prefer to have one with a charging light so you know how much charge is left. At the moment you have to leave it on charge for 45 minutes to ensure it is fully charged when it may only need a 30 min top up for eg so that it is fully charged before you go out. My understanding as they took the decision not to give a charging light to keep costs down and make it affordable to more people.
It is not noisy as such but you can ‘hear’ the vibration so to speak. I don’t notice it but some others can. It doesn’t seem to bother anyone particularly but they may wonder what it is. Some reviewers have commented on it but as I said, it doesn’t bother me but I am aware of others who are around and wouldn’t want to use it if it bothered anyone.
I now need to try it generally and see if anything else makes a difference.
I think it worth remembering this is only effectively the first generation and I am sure it will develop as time goes on.

I’ve had an interesting day with the Beech Band today. Long story short, on Saturday morning I took delivery of an extra capacity wheelie bin granted on medical need and in readiness for the new refuse collection schedule which started on Monday.
My collection day is Tuesday, so I went down to put some rubbish in this bin. I couldn’t believe it - when I lifted the lid, the bin was almost full to capacity by two very full black bags that someone had dumped in my bin. The solution is and I didn’t even know such things existed before today, I am going to gave a lock fitted to the bin
What has this got to do with rhe Beech Band I hear you ask. Well I went from being shocked and disbelieving to being angry and I knew I was getting wound up not least because there doesn’t look like there is enough room in the bin for my own rubbish which wouldn’t be collected until Wednesday week, Then I thought of the Beech Band, which I was wearing, snd switched it on. Within a few minutes I began to feel calmer and it no longer felt like the big obstacle it was in danger of becoming. When my Trainer arrived about ten minutes later I was telling her about the morning’s events incl the Beech Band and she agreed I was calmer than she would have expected in the circumstances. It’s true I was still cross but that was changing to put it in the context of the wider picture.
I don’t know what you will make of it this and you may well have your own theories on that. All I can say is that I was aware of feeling more relaxed after switching it on. Maybe it’s not real, maybe my brain is doing a sterling job in convincing me it is a reality, maybe it is only another form of placebo I don’t mind any which way, if it seems to
work and that will do me.

Hello Tot … I am thinking of developing a vibrating bra for the ladies. Do you think it would be a hit …
Best wishes
