BeechBand app

I have read here about the BeechBand and am exploring buying one for my husband, who has early Parkinson’s.

On their site, it mentions a BeechBand app, for those who have already got a smart watch.

Has anybody got experience of using the app, as opposed to the band?

How much does it drain the watch battery?
Does it work as well as the band?
Any other comments?

I might download the app for a try first, then buy the band if he used it, and if it worked.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi. I have had a Beechband for three weeks now. The battery lasts about two and a half hours before giving up. I can only wear it for about an hour before it drives me nuts. I haven’t felt any different when I wear it but it is early days. It drives my dog nuts too as he can hear it. It’s as loud as a mobile phone on vibrate. You can watch the seminars on line. Once you buy a Beech band you will get invited to join the zoom meeting. I hope it works for your husband. I am still a work in progress. Geffino.

hi

I’ve tried the beech band and for me I found it did nothing to improve my Parkinson’s symptoms, it’s very noisy and doesn’t last as long as long as it states before it needs recharging, I had no trouble getting a refund so it’s worth a try you have nothing to lose
