Best home exercise equipment-Choose the best

I researched the best home exercise equipment as i am trying to build a proper setup at home without joining a commercial gym. i have been experiencing a lot of inconsistency lately and my schedule is getting messy so i really want something that keeps me regular. i went through reviews from trusted sources like menshealth garagegymreviews and a few fitness subreddits and after comparing many options these two kept coming up as the top choices

Speediance ai powered home gym

Mikolo power cage and power rack with cable for home
https://www.amazon.com/Mikolo-K6-Crossover-Packages-Set-Black/dp/B0DPJ21BWK/

however i am having trouble deciding which one would be better for me and i would love to get your expert advice and hoping maybe some home gym owners or trainers on this forum can also share their advice.
i usually prefer something that fits in a smaller space but still gives me enough variety for strength training. not sure which one would be more practical long term for me? any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks for sharing this. Building a home setup that helps you stay consistent can make a real difference, especially when symptoms or routine changes make it harder to get to a gym.

We cannot recommend specific products, but it might help to think about what feels most manageable for you day to day.

You may get useful insights from others in the community who have tried these types of home gyms. If you ever want to talk about safe ways to keep active with Parkinson’s or get personalised guidance, you can reach us on 0808 800 0303 or [email protected]. We are here for you.

Very helpful, thanks for posting. I still go to local gyms but often wish I had similar equipment at home when I can’t be bothered going out.

Hi @ponam45 I’m not a fan of commercial gyms… too many mirrors…. And people who like mirrors!

I originally opted for a very similar multifunction cage. But I felt the convenience came with a compromise on form and flexibility. And I didn’t like it.

So I have sacrificed space, and gone with separate pieces of equipment.. my setup has a weight bench with preacher, a dips and pull-ups station,a set of pulleys, a water filled heavy punch bag, an elliptical trailer and a treadmill.

All bought second hand and the whole setup cost less than the original cage. And it gives me all of the flexibility and variety I need,

Simon

Yes I feel the same. Some days I can go out but other days I really want something at home.
I think a small home setup can help with regular training. If you try anything at home please share your thoughts.
