Bi-modal Sleep Patterns
There's an interesting article on the BBC News site about bi-modal sleep patterns - basically says that waking at night for a couple of hours and then sleeping again is probably how we used to sleep before the focus on 8 hours' sleep a night became widespread. Over the past couple of years, I've drifted into this First Sleep and Second Sleep pattern. Any others out there?

I usually fit into a 2 sleep pattern, although not normally 4 hours. I had never heard of this before.
