Body temperature fluctuating

Hi my dad has now got advanced Parkinson and was diagnosed 10 years ago. Has anyone experienced low body temperature ranging from 34.4 to 34.8 at this point of the disease? I’m dont want to worry him but Google keeps telling me that anything below 35 is a medical emergency but it’s not as straightforward when you have parkinsons. Can anyone advise? Thank you

I understand your concern. With advanced Parkinson’s, body temperature can sometimes run lower than usual. It is important to speak with his GP or Parkinson’s nurse to see if this is normal for him or if something else is causing it. Keep him warm, hydrated, and watch for any new symptoms. If his temperature drops further or he seems unwell, call 111 or seek medical advice.

You are doing the right thing by checking and supporting him
