Statistics is a vital tool to evaluate the experimental findings and to explore the significance of the experiment by denoting it with a statistical p-value. Most of the doctors strive hard to understand the statistical concepts which are essential to estimate the test results. Even though doctors do not perform research in labs by themselves, in this present scientific world, it has become vital to know the statistical tools to validate the study results for better understanding of the experimental results and also to interpret the published research of other scientists. A clinician who tends to remain abreast with the results of medical research needs to develop a statistical sense to avoid confusion, misguidance and wrong counselling to their patients. Hence statistical hypothesis is essential not only to statistician but also to a clinician who must interpret the results on their own without the assistance of a statistician.
