I have edited your comment so that it includes the ‘@’ symbol, this way goldengirl is more likely to see it as she will receive a notification.

No worries, I’m here to help. 
You simply need to click on the profile picture of the person that you’d like to private message and an envelop symbol will appear with the word ‘message’ on it, click on the symbol and that will allow you to send a private message. I’ve attached an image as an example.
