My husband may have to have a general anesthetic for a cataract operation
I am concerned as I have heard that general anesthetic is bad for Parkinsons
Anybody had any experience of this please?
Hi there, I had a general anaesthetic for shoulder surgery 4 months ago, and was very apprehensive, however I came round okay and with no adverse reactions to it! I would suggest you Talk to your Husband PD nurse and the hospital staff and surgeon.
