I was on sinimet with no side effects but was feeling it a bit just before my next dose.my doctor reduce my dosage and added stalevo which made me ill and increased my tremors so i came off that now i am back on my original dose of sinimet and now on opocapone.,originally i just had left hand tremor but now my left hand and arm, both legs, and my head have become really shaky and for the first time last night i could not sleep,i have also had feelings of just taking loads of meds going to sleep and not waking up.i was considering stop taking my opocapone and go back to what i was originally on in sinimet.has anyone else had similar problems.
Hello Stokie … I am on Sinemet and Rasagiline. I no longer take my Sinemet evening dose due to sleep issues which is a usual side effect of Sinemet.
Do be careful you do not over exaggerate your symptoms as your healthcare team may change your medication when no change is required.
Best wishes

Thanks for reply steve,as i said i wasnt that bad on the sinimet compared to how bad ive been since on the stalevo and now opocapone.i take 1 slow release at night and until last night i wasn,t sleeping too bad…i will speak to doctor on monday as i wonder if it is the meds or could i just be moving into the next stage of parkinsons or could it be something else completely unconnected.i must admit the suicidal thoughts worry me as i,ve never felt this way before.
