Changing consultant

Hi, I was diagnosed 6 years ago at the age of 44. I live in Kirklees but was referred to Bradford St Luke’s to see a neurologist. I’ve had good support there but because my gp is based in Kirklees, I cannot use any further services in Bradford (physio etc). Also, my appointments have been 18 months apart recently due to a lack of Parkinson’s nurses there. I’m wondering if I would be better off trying to transfer to the Mid Yorkshire Trust, which I believe would mean joining the neurology/Parkinson’s team at Pinderfields hospital near Wakefield.
Does anyone have any experience of Pinderfields? I’m really unsure about what to do.
Thanks,
Gayle.
