Chest pains / spasms

Hi everyone!

My mom (70, diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 65) frequently experiences chest pain or spasms. After undergoing several tests, her doctors have ruled out any cardiac or gastrointestinal causes, and they now suspect the symptoms may be related to Parkinson’s. They aren’t able to suggest medication or anything else that improves this pain, so I am wondering if others have experienced the same and found anything that helps.

This has become one of the most limiting symptoms for her—it often starts while walking or after eating.

Thank you

My wife had a similar condition which after many years turned out to be a muscle in the digestive track after a Botox injection she is now ok .?

Thank you so much for your answer, this is interesting to hear!
She was offered Botox to help with involuntary movement in her feet, but it hasn’t been suggested for the chest issue.
May I ask - who administered the Botox injections, and which doctors were involved in the case? We’re currently consulting with Parkinson’s specialists, gastroenterologists, and internists but we aren’t offered effective solutions.
The Parksion neurologist only suggested taking Domperidone which has no effect.

Thanks.
Lara

Looking at the report she had non cardiac chest pain and dysphagia a digestive issue,
Achalasia suspected , treatment in this case which worked was a Botox injection. She saw a gastroenterologist. Many years of horrendous pain and discomfort solved .
