It’s been a while since I’ve been on here and now I’m looking for your help please!
After taking part in the Walk 100 for Parkinson’s back in May and raising just over £1,000 for Parkinson’s, I am now taking part in a Festival of Christmas Trees in my village at the end of November and need your help please.
In case you don’t know, these events take place all over the world, and are displays of decorated Christmas trees made by members of local communities. The general format is that the public vote for their favourite tree. I am not entering my local FoT to win but to achieve promoting awareness about Parkinson’s and informing people about it.
I have received promotional materials from Parkinson’s UK, and am making ornaments in blue, with red tulips and bunting etc that will be placed on an all white tree. I would like to make some ornaments with short quotes and that’s where YOU come in.
If you are happy to do so, can you please send me {either on this message, or by inbox} a short statement or quote about Parkinson’s. I’m trying to keep the theme as positive as possible, but also want to get it across how awful Parkinson’s is, and how it affects us as individuals.
Please, remember I will have to write these out by hand, so keep them short! They also have to fit on ornaments that will be about 3” round or square and need to be snappy enough to be read and get your point across quickly! If you are happy for me to put your name to it, great, but you can remain anonymous if preferred.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks in advance!
