Hi.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2010.
For about 3 years now I’ve been suffering with differing areas of my body’s temperature fluctuations. My upper body can increase its temperature so high that my hair becomes ringing wet. I also have the problem of my lower limbs getting so cold, my feet turn blue. I’m also suffering from swollen feet.
I have brought these problems to the attention of my GP and my neurologist, but neither could give me an answer.
Does anyone suffer from the same?
Reynard disease sounds like it goes hand in hand pd
Thanks for your reply Gus. Doesn’t Raynaud’s Syndrome affect the extremities and turn the fingers white? My legs are freezing but at the same time I’m sweating.
It’s worth getting checked out i have cold feet, hands and right leg pain
I believe that pd can affect the nervous system and affect temperature control system, I have had one foot going stone cold sometimes.
Thanks for your thoughts. I can’t wait for the summer.
My feet get really cold, the heating can be set at 22+ but I’ll still have 2 pairs of thick work socks on and they still feel cold…
On the other side I have bouts of sweating no matter what the temperature. I gets quite scary, and I drip and it’s causing skin problems behind my ears… I always keep micro fibre sports cloth with me…
I have PD this week so I shall bring it and hear their thoughts.
