Computer aids

My husband is finding it increasingly difficult to use computer as he cannot control the cursor with the mouse due to his tremor. Tonight, he asked me to help him and I know this made him feel even more helpless and frustrated than he already is. He fells that nothing is right:-

  • his speech is difficult to understand
    • his writing is illegible
    • he can only shuffle his feet to move about
    • he dribbled
    • he can’t swallow properly
If someone could help with suggestions on how to solve the mouse issue, at least this would enable him to make use of his computer again. He used to be a software analyst so he misses being able to use this skill .
Thanks for any advice you may have!

Have you thought about using a beech band or something similar. ?

Hi Lar,
Yes, I ordered a beech band and am waiting for it to arrive!
