Correct use?

Hi - is ‘create a new topic’ the correct way to introduce myself - posted by a beginner

It will certainly do.

Best wishes

Hi, it’s a good place to start introducing yourself.

I was diagnosed almost 3 months ago on the 17th January. I took the bus to the hospital and on the way home on the bus I joined this forum to be able to better understand my condition and to socialise with other like bodied people (albeit online). I’ve found it so many people who are a fountain of knowledge, positivity, understanding and compassionate.

Hope you’re doing okay

thanks adam - I now want to continue by doing the introduction but I am not sure how to follow up my use of new topic !

Hannah - thanks for your reply - I am still healthy but slowly coming to realise things will change. Having created by first topic, I now need to add my introduction - and am not sure how !

Just continue on with this thread

Or here

Sorry if I fail to see the obvious, but what button is ‘continue’

Not a continue button as such, either keeping replying or posting on this thread or on the link I posted before you will be able to respond and add your own personal story

Hope this helps, my brains a bit mushy today

Hello Jimcoed and welcome to the forum
Please don’t worry too much about how to post whatever you want to say ‘correctly’ There are quite a few of us ‘old hands’ on the forum who don’t find it easy to navigate but you do get used to it. If you just click on reply you can write whatever you want. You are anyway already in ‘about me’ which is as good a place to start as any. Wherever and when ever you post, someone (or indeed several 'someones) will pick it up, just as they have done already,
