My neurologist thinks my pd diagnosis could be incorrect and that I have Cortico basal degeneration cbd. This is mainly because levadopa has no effect on my symptoms and only my left side is affected.There does not appear to be any definitive tests for cbd .Does anyone have any experience of cbd diagnosis or any other useful information.Thanks Kevin

I have no knowledge of CBD and your Neurologist may well be correct in his diagnosis. However, I would not conclude that you do not have PD for the reasons you state. When I was diagnosed in 2011 my tremor symptoms were confined to my left side only. I delayed taking Levodopa for a year or so but, since doing so, have never been convinced it has benefited my symptoms. Whatever your ultimate diagnosis is, I wish you well. Gerrard
